I have a couple of minutes...

OK...I have five minutes...five minutes to at least change the most recent post on this blog...

I have been juggling many things...
but everyone is busy...right?!

So who am I to complain, to whine, to fret?

Maybe others are just more "cut out" for it.

Maybe others aren't as "wimpy" as me!

Ok, let me share, or whine for a moment. AHEM

I have many hats these days...

I teach high schoolers daily, run to the office to bill insurance, catch up on calls, process patient files, help Shawn, just began a new diet program out of the office this week that I am running as an RN, now on top of daily duties, I will be adding weekly consultation with patients and weekly free health talks in the evenings on top of daily office duties, just began a MOPS group here in Mtn. View(first one of its kind here) and kicking it off the first of November, trying to organize, plan, coordinate...whew...and this is just my "professional life"...
Now on top of this, I try to coordinate who will pick up the kiddos, plan get togethers for our Sunday school class, basketball practice/ pictures for LUke and Jett, parent teacher conferences, Oh yea, then there is Ella...well I haven't seen her in two days, she has not been up when I leave the house in the morning and was in bed last night when I arrived and this morning she was still in bed when I left for work...thank goodness for great grandparents that "raise" her in the absense of her mother.

Ok...I feel better now...

No more whining today...I promise

Sounds like you are doing some amazing things for your community and your church. It also sounds like you are caught in a whirl wind of responsibilities. Too many times James and I have become so busy and so overwhelmed with responsibility that there is no time for family. In the end it always hurts our family and we have to reevaluate our priorities. That is hard to do and it all seems so important. Ask God to weed out the things he has not assigned you and give you the strength for the ones that He has. In the end if this season ends up being really busy just make sure that you set aside some quality time for God and family. It has been the hardest lesson that we have had to learn as a family and it only get harder when the kids get older. The last time I refused to slow down God put me on my back for over 6 months.

Hugs and prayers!

Ummmmmm......JUST SAY NO!!!!!!!! I actually just quit my cleaning job of 8 or so years. Now that we are homeschooling, I am feeling behind on everything. Some one else can organize those ball pictures! Is the MOPS group meeting at your church? That is a huge commitment. Hope the business is going well. What happened with the diet challenge between you and Shawn? Catch us up! I need someone to challenge me. Wish I was closer to take part in your diet and health program, been packin on the pounds for winter here! Love you Guys!!!

I have learned to be so protective of my time - you have to be if you want any time with your family. I was in the exact spot you are a little over a year ago. Working full time, then getting off work to work at the daycare until late. Getting home just in time to do the books for the daycare - Mychaela in gymnastics, Lacey in ballet, church commitments, and I was teaching CPR classes for our church day care program and nursery volunteers. And my closest grandparent was 2 hours away!! You definitely have to pray about it and make sure you are scheduling things to fit your priorities - and not prioritizing things to fit your schedule. I know how you feel and I will pray that a solution to our busyness comes soon.
