No power still...we are at a week without power now...the old generator is running now for a week...nonstop! There are 500 men in the area working on powerlines. School has been out for over a week and looks like it will be Wednesday before they go back.
I spent Saturday doing things the "old fashioned" way...now I know many people still hang out their clothes...but I have not since high school. It was kind of nostalgic...in an exhausting sort of way.
The boys liked the idea of taking a bath in an old fashioned tub. This one was used by their grandma when she was little. We repeated this type of bath again, tonight. Baths are getting done twice a week only! (that would be for the boys, I might add...I can only make it for 24 hours!)

Kinda makes you appreciate what you've got, and dont! But the boys are probally lovin it!
I love these pictures! How many fun memories is that! So I guess when we move back to the mountains we need to buy a BIG generator!
